Remote Online Notarization
Is RON Legal Internationally?
Yes. Remote Online Notarization (RON) is legally recognized nationwide and internationally under the SECURE Notary Act and state-specific laws like Michigan's. We can notarize for U.S. citizens or entities anywhere in the world.
Identity Security & Verification
The process utilizes KBA (Knowledge-Based Authentication) and credential analysis to verify your government ID. Every session is recorded and stored securely to ensure maximum fraud protection and legal compliance.
Technical Requirements
To complete a RON session, you need a device with a camera and microphone (smartphone, tablet, or laptop), a stable internet connection, and a valid U.S. government-issued photo ID for the verification process.

Identification & Requirements
Valid Government-Issued ID
A current, unexpired government-issued photo ID is mandatory. Accepted forms include a U.S. State Driver's License, State Identification Card, U.S. Military ID, or U.S. Passport. For Remote Online Notarization, IDs must be compatible with credential analysis software.
Document Readiness
Documents must be complete with no blank spaces before the session begins. For RON sessions, please ensure your documents are in digital format (PDF preferred). Do not sign the documents until instructed by the notary during the live video recorded session.
Technology Requirements (For RON)
A stable internet connection, a computer or mobile device with a working camera and microphone, and a valid email address are required. You must be able to pass Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and Knowledge-Based Authentication (KBA) as required by law.
